Session: "Update on FedNow - Instant Payments"

Stephanie Miracle with the Federal Reserve will provide an update on the relatively new payment rail, FedNow.

Speaker: Stephanie Miracle, Product Director, FedNow Service, Federal Reserve

Stephanie Miracle serves in a leadership role on the product management team for the FedNow Service, a near real-time payment and settlement service under development by the Federal Reserve Banks to support instant payments in the United States. Miracle supports fraud mitigation capabilities being developed by the service, as well as supports industry readiness efforts specifically focused on adoption and innovation across the ecosystem of financial institutions, payment service providers, and financial services providers to end-customers and businesses.
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Banks, Miracle spent more than a decade working with financial institutions in various roles to drive customer engagement, improve data quality, and create compelling digital banking channels experiences. Her career has focused on customer’s journey with a passion for making the lives of consumers better with technology and helping businesses connect with their customers in more meaningful ways.

Miracle holds a bachelor’s degree in English communications from William Woods University and an M.B.A from Baker University.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICIES

Sessions generally will be cancelled only for inclement weather. If the U.S. Government closes due to severe weather, the session will be cancelled. Every effort will be made to notify registered participants of the cancellation by email. In the event of advance payments, participants may request funds be applied to the next upcoming meeting provided 48 hours of notification are given.

Complaints should be directed to the Education Committee at education@gwafp.org; if resolution cannot be achieved at this level, the complaint will be reviewed by the Executive Committee.
