12:50PM- 1:00PM – Break

1:00PM- 1:50PM - “How to Create a Global Banking Infrastructure, without Leaving Home”

Speaker: Cole Augustine, Galactic Trade Consultants

Managing your banking is tricky, especially on a global scale. New technology and regulatory progress has made these challenges dramatically less cumbersome for financial institutions and their clients. Look at practical techniques for how to build a structure that lets you focus on the parts of your business that are most important, regardless of whether you're a company or a financial institution. It doesn't have to be this hard.

Speaker: Cole Augustine, Galactic Trade Consultants

Cole Augustine is the founder of Galactic Trade Consultants and a career financial services professional, focused on helping companies and financial institutions streamline the opaque, cumbersome process of cross-border payments, international trade, and foreign exchange. Cole spent most of his career working in the banking industry -- taking on responsibilities ranging from implementations and product management to sales and relationship management. For almost 15 years he focused largely on cross-border payments and international business. His experience on "most sides of the desk" helps Cole better understand the needs of banking customers, ensuring that their pain points are clearly understood and, in many cases, identifying issues that might have gone unnoticed. In Cole's current capacity, he focuses on taking on the big ideas in payments and trade, domestically, globally, and beyond.
